Standout Campaigns

BET Hip Hop 50th Anniversary

As Creative Director, I led BET’s GEMA award-winning “Hip Hop 50” campaign to commemorate the genre’s 50th Anniversary. From highlighting the origins of the music, to exploring the evolution of the culture, the 360° marketing campaign was a one-year long celebration.

In order capture the rich history of Hip Hop we went directly to the source, securing exclusive interviews with artists, music executives, producers, DJs, fashion stylists & more. With the use of a custom graphics package featuring iconic album cover fonts and a simple interview set that evolved to include hip hop memorabilia, the creative was bold, celebratory and proud.

The expansive collection of interviews from this campaign culminated in an original short film documentary, BET: For the Love of Hip Hop. Take a look below.

VH1 Basketball Wives

How do you refresh a legacy reality TV franchise 12 seasons in the game? Toss out the playbook & go for the unexpected. For season 12 of Basketball Wives, we placed our cast in the opulent world of a classic tea party — a sharp contrast from the high drama and intensity of the series. From the shoot-based promotional tease to final key art and graphic design package, this campaign was a seamless visual integration that proved tea is best served hot.

SOCIAL IMPACT

I led the non-partisan BET “We Vote” initiative to encourage inactive and first-time voters to let their voices be heard in the 2024 election. The 360° marketing campaign spanned the course of the election year and included a television special “Black Men’s Summit” and voter engagement event “Vote Fest”. The campaign is nominated for Election Coverage Promo at the 2025 GEMA Awards.

LIVE

During my first time in the role as Creative Director for BET Awards, the 2023 live show pulled 2.8M total viewers, taking the #1 spot as the best performing cable award show that year. BET Awards 2023 was also the #1 most-watched TV show on social with +104% growth year-over-year, and 6M social interactions.

UNSCRIPTED

Whether it’s influencers, interior designers or travel besties, I’ve Created Directed dynamic campaigns across all genres of unscripted television.

SCRIPTED

As a Creative Director, I led the Brand Creative campaigns for Tyler Perry’s Sistas, the #1 series on cable for Black viewers for 4 consecutive seasons.

From on-air promotions to Key Art and OOH, the creative was showcased across New York City, Los Angeles, and most notably in Las Vegas. As part of Paramount’s "Mountain of Entertainment" Super Bowl LVIII activation, the Sistas spa suite was an immersive fan experience.

PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT

Coca-Cola Hilltop 50th Anniversary

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of The Coca-Cola Company's Hilltop Commercial, Coca-Cola created a capsule consumer products line, the 1971 Unity Collection. As part of the Coca-Cola Studios team, I served as a producer on the remake of the classic Hilltop commercial showcasing apparel, accessories and products to promote the collection.

PREVIOUS WORK

FOX, MTV, Food Network and more…

I got my start as an on-air promo Writer/Producer. Some of my standout campaigns were launching FOX’s hit series The Masked Singer, the #1 non-sports program for adults 18-49 for five seasons. Additionally, I wrote the campaign treatment for MTV’s Movie & TV Awards in the first year the event presented honors for both film and television.
